Smriti Irani apparently isnt college graduate, and her annual income is below Rs 4 lakhs !! And she has made serious error in her election affidavit which can amount to disqualification !!!

Please see at Smriti Irani's affidavit at link in 1st comment . Her yearly income as shown as below Rs 4 lakhs per year !!! And thats per year, and not per month. Now she is Rajya Sabha MP, and taxable salary is Rs 50000 per month. (see link-2) which is Rs 6 lakhs per year. And she has no other income? Not even interest income?

And education part says : "B Com part-1 from Delhi Univ" which most likely means that B Com isnt completed.

And she didnt report the step-child from her husband's previous marriage as dependent !! Legally speaking, all children of husband become dependent. And daughters are taken as dependent as long as they are unmarried, even if above 18 years. IOW, she has given false information in affidavit and is liable for disqualification.

Anyway, I dont beleieve in court actions and believe in mass action only. So I am NOT filing any PILs. But she has under-reported her income as Rs 4 lakhs per year, and that is sickening.
