I got 9700 votes , 4th position, about 0.8% of total polled votes. Not bad at all,

1. given that there was a HUGE NaMo wave and a strong undercurrent for AAP\AK given the continuous paid-media publicity AK\AAP has been getting since apr-2011 .

2. Ahmedabad mirror didnt take my advertisement

3.. Mirror had given a HUGE publicity to AK, AAP since apr-2011 , aug-2012 and more so during election,

Other candidates were local workers with strong local contacts and they do a lot of local work and some also have small time caste\community support. My support this time was strictly on right to recall law-draft, Jury System etc etc.

Nevertheless, if I had got 3rd position, then lakhs more would have noticed my name and thus noticed RTR, Jury etc law-drafts. It has been opportunity missed.

I was hoping to cross AAP, but given that AK is getting such huge coverage since 3 years, overtaking AAP was not so easy. AAP got 3rd position with 20000 votes
