1. Democracy is only when activists and citizens impose the citizens' will on the leaders. The democracy is never due to so called "leaders with democratic mindset". It is pointless to say that such as such leader has undemocratic mindset. If undemocratic things are happening, then it is less due to "leader with undemocratic mindset" but more because the activists are not working to impose will of citizens on the leaders. And the nation needs a procedural setup to impose the will of citizens on leaders on a day to day basis on each and every issue. IMO, the activists should confine to creating such procedural setup, rather take will of citizens on issue by issue. Because activists are small in number and they dont have whole life for activism. Over 90% activists will spend no more than 5-12 hours a week, and that too for 4-6 years in their lives. So if the activists keep on taking issue by issue instead of creating procedural setup, then the activists will soon run out of time and never get anything done.
2. What is a good form of govt? What type of life should we live? How much industrialization is needed? How many hours in a week should we work? What should tax rate? And how much environment should be protected? Answers to all this depends heavily on what enemy is doing !!! If enemy has high tax rate and using that efficiently to build military, then we too need a matching military and for that we may need high tax . And if enemy is working 60 hours a week, and buidling powerful Military, and then we too may need to put similar hours. IOW, answers to many many questions depend on mainly what our enemy is doing !! We are NOT independent from enemies' decisions, even if we are not chained.
