Gadakari is fooling people of India by making utterly useless promises.
If Gadakari has actually signed this piece of paper , then Gadakari is crook #1. If Gadakari has actually signed this paper, then he is only trying to make a fool of every voter in India.
This piece of paper has no value in court. Because
(a) What MP does in court, whether he votes yes or no cannot be question in any court. Nor can court instruct MP whether to vote YES or NO. And MP cannot be fined or punished by court no matter how he votes and his voting cannot be taken as cause to initiate any litigation. Only punishment MP can face for voting is if he defied the whip
(b) Politically, BJP will never get 273 seats, and so Nitin Gadakari will tear this page up and say "sorry, we dont have majority" !!! This is exactly what AB Vajpayee did in 1999. He tore apart BJP manifesto and said "this is NDA govt and not BJP govt " !!!
(b) This is NOT a valid contract at all. Please read contract act. Both or all parties have to sign the contract. Sometimes, signature of person who accepts contract is not needed. But signature person who is asking for promise is must.
(c) There MUST be some rupee amount on contract. If nothing, there must be at least Re 1 . Or, there must be specific law which allows Rs 0 contracts !!! In absence of amount such as re 1 , contract is void !!!
(d) A statement of intention is NOT a contract and not a binding.
(e) if Nitin Gadagari breakes the promises in contract he signed, then who has right to sue him? Can any one voter sue? What if 10,000 voters decide to sue? Will they be forced to club the cases? Which law forces them to club the cases? NONE. And how will courts take such 10000 cases? And can ONLY majority of district sue?
I can count 10 more reasons.
All in all, (a) , (b) and (c) are sufficient. All in all Nitin Gadakari after winning this election will tear apart this page and hand over the pieces to voters.
It is shameful that all leaders are trying to fool voters, and activists instead of exposing them take defense like "see , other leaders are fooling voters and so we so you must help our leader fool voters too !!"
Well, let those activists go to hell. IMO , we should inform as many voters as possible that this piece of paper is useless.
