Govt of India is NOT disclosing religion statistics and language statistics for census-2011 . Pls order your MP via SMS or other means to order Govt to disclose religion statistics ASAP

All household level data was gathered by dec-2011, and religion data could be have been given out in jan-2012. We have been asking all voters to order their MPs via SMS (was postcard instead of SMS before oct-2012) to release relligion and language data ASAP.

If SMS sending doenst suit you, you may use any method.

Many groups and activist-leaders who believe in transparency etc. , who in general demand maximum disclosure of all data, have opposed the proposal that this data should be released immediately. ag Anna , Arvindbhai both have opposed the proposal to release the data immidiately.

"Why is Govt withholding this data" is a question which anybody can guess. The data reveal that there is a huge growth in Bagladeshi population across India !!

BJP has been silent on this issue. BJP wants data to come out in jan-2014 so that there is shock in voters which can be used to collect votes. If data had come in jan-2012, the population would have felt the shock, but shock would have been got used to promote law-drafts and solutions to deal with Bangladeshi problem. And then in may-2014 , BJP could not have used that shock to collect votes. So LKA etc also didnt demand immediate release of religion data in jan-2012.

Delay in release of this information has caused a huge damage to national interests. Because if data had come in jan-2012, then all activists of India would have known , and would have demanded solution to Bagladeshi problem. Even AAP activists would have pulled AK's collars and aske dhim to give solution to this mess. But since there was complete silence on demand of that data, govt didnt release the data at all.

VHP, RSS etc have been forced by BJP leaders to keep silence on demanding this data.
