Rationalism is talk rational or act rational? And why do almost all rationalists I see , who also happens to be seculars, internationalists, humanist refuse to sit on hunger strike in Lahore till Pakistan adopts secular constitution?
i.e. consider someone who talks rationally and goes around advising that all 80 crore voters should act and vote rationally. And when it comes to his own political actions or deliberate inactions show total sense-less-ness.
eg Rationalist refuse to sit on hunger strike in Lahore till Pakistan adopt secular constitution. Is their inaction rational or irrational? I find their inaction highly insensible.
Because first, the rationalist say than nationalism is nonsense. IOW, they consider pakistan as much as their own country as they do India. Next , they advise us that we all 80 crore Indian voters should be secular and that communal laws like "making Ram Janam Bhoomi Devalaya, Krishna Janam Bhoomi Dewalaya, Kashi Vishvanath Devalaya etc should be opposed. "
Then shouldnt they also oppose all communal and non-secular laws in pakistan? If so, why do almost all rationalists I meet, who also happen to be seculars, internationalists , humanists etc refuse to sit on hunger strike till death or pakistan adops secular constitution?
