Cow slaughter is BANNED in most all states of India, except WB, Kerala, Asam. So if you see cow slaughter on bakri-id on 16-oct-2013 or any day , pls do call police at 100 number at that place. If the local cop is non-corrupt, he may take necessary action.

Pls note that AAP, AK etc have demanded legalization of cow slaughter across India (if you wish to verify , then pls ask AK and get his statement on his issue on YT) . Anna was once opposed to cow-sluaghter once, but now keeps silence on it. Congress till 1980 opposed cow slaughter, but how supports it. BJP has opposed cow slaughter , but may soon say "pahale manav raksha aur manav vikas, baad me go raksha" . Those scientific people who oppose superstitions , for some vague reason, support cow slaughter on bakri-id etc. So IMO, those who want cow-slaughter to end are on their own.
