Why I oppose corrupt and nepotic Supreme judges' judgment that those convicted by lower courts should NOT be allowed to contest elections. One example --- CBI can beat the cr1p out of Vanazara and force him to write one line "I murdered Soharabuddin at the orders of NaMo and Amit Shah", and within one day, corrupt Lower Court judge can throw 10 year prison sentence on both NaMo and Amit Shah, and make them incapable to contest election !!" IOW, I dont have faith in judges, and so dont want their judgments to be any standard to decide candidature.
A common FALSE belief is that conviction can happen ONLY if there were evidences. WRONG WRONG WRONG. A judge can convict based on few witness alone and without any evidences. eg I can make allegation against any Minister, that I personally visited him, gave him bribe of Rs 50,000 in form of 100 notes of Rs 500 ; he counted the notes; he said that two notes are less; I paid him extra two notes ; and he cleared by project !!" And I can have 2-5 witness to say same thing "yes, we were present when Rahul Mehta gave Rs 50000 in form of 100 notes of Rs 500 ; he counted the notes; he said that two notes are less; I paid him extra two notes etc etc". And based on such witnesses, without any narco-tests, a lower court can throw 7 years in prison under anti-corruption act !! Convictions in rape cases and even murder cases has happened by mere witness and no material evidences.
Indian intellectuals are murti-pujak i.e. nyaya-murti-pujak i.e. they worship judges. Why? because many intellectuals close relatives are judges or well-placed lawyers who make crores via judges. So these intellectuals always say that "Ministers and traffic policemen are more corrupt than judges". But till this date, no intellectual has given any material evidence that "Ministers and traffic policemen are more corrupt than judges", In absence of material evidence, what is logical (anuman praman) is proof. The logic says that "judges are at least as corrupt or may be more corrupt than Ministers and traffic policemen". And we know how corrupt traffic policemen are.
So if judges are given powers to disqualify candidates via throwing 3-year sentences, trust me, you could be sitting in Ahmedabad, and some judge in Bihar will throw a 3 year sentence on you !! The corruption of judges knows no lower bound in India. eg one supreme court chief judge Khare stooped low to the extent that he gave bail to a billionaire Swiss convicted criminal, who had raped three eight year old girls and video taped it himself !! Khare saw the video, saw forensic lab reports from USA as well as India that videos were real. yet he gave bail and assisted the criminal to escape out of India !! And surely such judge can also falsely convict a politically high profile candidate for a bribe, so that he cant contest election.
And real reason why people elect criminals is because of corrupt judges. The corrupt judges let criminals walk away, and so they become stronger, they harass non-criminals and and so non-criminals dont contest. So finally, people are left with only criminal candidates, and they pick lesser evil depending on situation. But of judges were honest, which will never ever happen, the criminals would have never grown tall and become MLA, MP.
Solution is to have Right to recall judges, RTR District Police Chiefs, Jury System etc. Not such ham handed ways that judges can convict anyone and this debar him from contesting elections.
